The Count of Monte Cristo
Having only seen the movie, I couldn't resist reading the book. I was stunned! The book is written in a way as to stretch the reader's human drive for revenge in some cases and deliverance in others. Dumas delivers both of these in each situation throughout the book at the very moment that the reader is almost begging for a resolution! Without ruining the ending or plot for those who haven't read it yet, don't expect the same outcome as the movie. However, the story is resolved in a more realistic manner while delivering the same heart and reckoning.
