It is a bit long to get through, but really worth while to hear the whole argument as laid out by Darwin, himself.

I haven't done a variorum, but the inclusion of the Historical Sketch at the beginning indicates this is a later edition, probably the 6th. This is disappointing, as everyone with an opinion seems to agree that the first edition is preferable from both scientific and history of science perspectives; as the editions proceeded, they accumulated errors, especially on the topic of the source of heritable variation. (Thus the four stars -- the first edition gets give.)
