Great book that sums up the whole series!
I wouldn't suggest reading this book, until you've read the whole series. This book is much better know all the background and stories of the characters.

A great way to end the adventures of "THE MUSKETEERS". I found it both
entertaining and a salute to the past great writers .

Unfortunately, this is the end of the D'Artagnan romances. And that is a pity. On the other hand, if you never read any of the sequels to the Three Musketeers, for you, the characters will never grow old or die. But if you have read the entire saga and are determined to read to the end, this volume is much better than Louise de la Valliere (a pitiful woman), and your curiosity will be satisfied.

After reading The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers, this poorly-titled book is pretty much a letdown. Slight spoiler: the actual man in the iron mask is probably the most minor and least mentioned character in the book.
