Little Brother - Opens your eyes
I really enjoyed the characters and the story. The story itself should bring a snapshot of what if...if nothing else. I recommend the book to anyone.
There Will be Dragons - Good read
Excellent story and the characters were well developed.
Book Requests - More Sherlock Holmes
I have read many of the Sherlock Holmes selections and I was hoping to be able to read His Last Bow and The Case Book of Sherlock Holmes as well.
To round out the selections Daily Lit has already.
Thank You
Joshua Klein - Recommendations please!
Dave, I have read the book and totally agree with you. I am hoping for another book by Mr. Klein as well.
Oscar Wilde - Oscar Wilde
I have discovered Wilde recently as well and I am enjoying Picture of Dorian Grey. It is an interesting look of how we interact with the world and its effects on us as a whole.
The Yellow Wallpaper - Journey of a Mind as it Becomes Fractured
The story displays how medicine has advanced with more modern social dynamic allowing for the idea of post partium depression to be recognized as an issue.
The Yellow Wallpaper - Disturbing but great story
You really have to understand Gilman's life to know why she wrote the story but the depression after childbirth was very disturbing for this poor woman and the wallpaper.
The Count of Monte Cristo - Excellent Read
I started reading this book and was caught by the characters, act of vengence and the lines of the web that brought everyone back together in the end.
Question of the Week - Question of the Week #8: Which books make good movies?
I would have to agree with Stardust, The Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, LOTR and Wuthering Heights (with Ralph Fiennes as Heathcliff) just for my two cents.
Book Requests - Richard Connell's The Most Dangerous Game
I have heard of the story. My interest was caught when I had heard the premise of the story which has been seen in Hollywood so many times.
I would like to read the original.
Reader Challenges - 6 Word Autobiography
