Question of the Week - Question of the Week #5: Which was "the one?"
When I was in the first grade, I read The Secret Garden. I was so entranced by a place that was all your own to love and care for that I kept reading to find that each book is quite like that; your own place where nothing can touch you and imagination is like a paintbrush that creates a world uniquey yours in every way.
Wuthering Heights - Incredible
I've read this story three times over, and each time is just as wonderful as the last. Many people find the book dark and hateful, but I see the story as one of the most incredible love stories of all time. Even through Heathcliff's evil ways and Cathy's selfish ways, their love remains throughout life and death.
Pride and Prejudice - Pride & Prejudice
Edward is one of the leading men in Sense & Sensibility. I think Darcy's first name is Fitzwilliam or something rather odd like that . . . maybe Fritzwilliam? Sorry I wasn't more help!
Sense and Sensibility - Sense & Sensibility anyone?
I have read it once before, last summer along with Pride & Prejudice and found it to be a very enjoyable novel. Currently I am reading Norhtanger Abbey, and if you get the chance, you should read it. Similar to her other work, it is humorous and exceedingly satisfying! She is a wonderful author.
