Editorial Intern - Digital Publishing
Be part of the digital revolution in book publishing! DailyLit is looking for an Editorial Intern.
DailyLit's serialized publications bring you great books digitally in under five minutes a day. DailyLit has been featured in Newsweek, the Wall Street Journal, Wired Magazine, DailyCandy and the New York Times.
DailyLit's three-month internship program offers an opportunity to learn at one of the premiere digital publishing companies. You can gain valuable experience in digital media and work for an innovative and creative company. We offer flexible hours, a friendly office environment and are committed to providing a positive, educational experience for our intern.
In this position, you will:
- Work on all aspects of DailyLit's digital publishing process.
- Help prepare marketing materials for books and DailyLit events.
- Work with DailyLit staff to cultivate online community.
- Assist on other various DailyLit projects.
DailyLit interns should possess the following qualifications:
- Recent college graduates. Mature high school students and people looking for volunteer work are also welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Full literacy and demonstrated experience with MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Knowledge of HTML helpful but not required.
We are based in Mamaroneck, New York (35 minutes outside of Manhattan on Metro North). The internship is unpaid.
