Value of Edgar Allan Poe "The complete
I am trying to find out if the Edgar Allan Poe book I own is worth anything. As heartbreaking it is to me......my current financial strife has put me in the position to sell possibly everything I own. My medical bills are horendous. The book was given to me by a very special man. The book has no copyright date, the binderis in tact and is different than anyother book I have found. It's in great condition. I wondered if there may be book collectors out there that may want to purchase this book. How do I find out the real value, if any, of this book?

Sorry to hear about your financial troubles.
I do not have any experience with rare books but have you tried looking online? There are a few sites that seem to deal with antique books. Perhaps you could describe the book to them and they might be able to give you a quote.
